![]() I was also able to get close to this with the Best Buy store model (i7, 8G ram, 256GB SSD). So I actually am able to obtain roughly 12 hours of real world use on my current Spectre Folio custom order (i7, 16G ram, 512GB SSD). Hi Andy, apologies for the delay as I was traveling this past weekend. Hopefully, if this is the case, it will be reenabled using a bios update at some point in the future so we can get the 19 hours of proclaimed batterly life! Presently, I can get up to 12 hours. In summary, nobody seems to know the answer about the 1 watt display, but the HP custom build orders seem to have the best chance at being equpped with these - but many from the forum above believe that the firmware was disabled due to quality control issues of the display picture when the 1 watt power scenario was enabled. We do know that there are three panels that HP uses in these Spectre folios: and AUO552D (suspected 2 watt panel max 300nits), AUO572D (suspected 1 watt panel max 400 nits), and just added in late December there is a now a 4K resolution option that i hear is made by Sharp. You'll haved to read through the pages but the bottom line is there is no real way of knowing this since no one can get a firm answer from HP. There has been much discussion about what has what here: Great Question! I live in the States and have now owned the Best Buy model (i7, 8G ram, 256GB SSD), the HP quick Ship (i7, 8G ram, 256GB SSD with LTE cellular modem), and now the HP Custom Order (i7, 16G ram, and 512GB SSD). ![]() Business PCs, Workstations and Point of Sale Systems.Printer Wireless, Networking & Internet.DesignJet, Large Format Printers & Digital Press.Printing Errors or Lights & Stuck Print Jobs.Notebook Hardware and Upgrade Questions.
